<image:title>About - committed to purpose, dedicated to growth.</image:title>
<image:caption>I became a classical musician to pursue something that challenges and stretches me – something that draws me onward to become the best possible version of myself. I am inspired by achievement and energized by accomplishment, and the sense that more is possible is a near-constant fascination. Whether it’s my own journey or someone else’s, nothing captivates me more than figuring out how to unlock the way forward. This is why, in the wake of COVID-19 and the Met’s extended closure, I became a Certified Life Coach through Life Purpose Institute’s International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited training. In the two decades since receiving my Master of Music degree, I have learned a lot about myself and what it takes to succeed at a high level; about dedication, drive, motivation, and mindset; about blocks, beliefs, and dreams; and, especially, about perfectionism, burnout, and what happens when the well dries up. It’s those experiences - the good, the bad, and the ugly - that inform my coaching practice, and lay the foundation for collaboration with the clients I serve as we work to rediscover purpose and reignite that elusive inner fire. This is what calls me to coaching: a desire to use my passion for vocation and my years of experience as an artist to help others lead lives of greater calm, clarity, possibility, and fulfillment, even in times such as these.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - Inspired by excellence, passionate about vocation.</image:title>
<image:caption>I’ve been a member of The Metropolitan Opera Chorus since 2013. In that time, I have performed an average of 175 performances of 19 different operas each season with solos and featured ensembles in Der Rosenkavalier, Cendrillon, Manon Lescaut, Exterminating Angel, Suor Angelica, Dialogues des Carmélites, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Manon. (Full resume here.) I have been privileged to work with some of the world’s finest artists and have regularly been moved to tears by the extraordinary musicianship of my colleagues in the orchestra and chorus. I have also sung Verdi while wearing antlers, Wagner while wading through a massive tree-filled blood pool that left my feet red for weeks, and Glass while juggling Ancient Egyptian dialect, polyrhythms, and an actual ball. Being a member of the Met Opera Chorus is an experience like no other.</image:caption>
